President | Rick Thompson

Rick is a retired Army veteran and single father of five who has spent the past nine years mentoring youth through tackle football, flag football, and track. Passionate about youth development, Rick finds no greater joy than seeing players apply what they’ve learned in practice during competition. His dedication and leadership make him an essential part of SSYFF.


Vice President | Randi Parish

Randi is a wife, mother of two, and proud alumna of Smiths Station High School. A lifelong football enthusiast, she has coached for SSYFF since its first season. Randi’s favorite teams are the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Philadelphia Eagles, and she’s been a fan of Jalen Hurts since his debut at Bryant-Denny. Her passion for the sport and dedication to mentoring young athletes make her a valued leader of SSYFF.

Secretary | Keianna Patterson

Keianna is a devoted wife and loving mother of three. She is known for her leadership, communication, customer service, and dependability. Keianna is deeply committed to the SSYFF program, with over 5 years of active involvement in the community and team sports. Here at Smiths Station, Keianna has been a successful team mom as well as a coach. Keianna consistently demonstrates passion and dedication in all that she does. Keianna is always willing to learn and take on new challenges. 

Coaching and Safety Coordinator | Jazmine Johnson

Jazmine is an Army veteran and first-year coach with SSYFF. A lifelong sports enthusiast, her favorite professional athlete is Deion Sanders, whose drive and excellence inspires her approach to coaching.  Jazmine is passionate about promoting development and resilience in young athletes, firmly believing that "nothing worth having comes easy." Her dedication and leadership are key to ensuring a safe and impactful experience for all players. 

Field & Equipment Manager | Shandale Funderburg

“Shan” is an active-duty member of the United States Army, a devoted husband, and a proud father of two. With a passion for football and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, he brings discipline, dedication, and a love for sports to his role as Fields and Equipment Manager for SSYFF. His commitment to excellence ensures the league’s facilities and equipment are always ready for action. 

Head of Concessions & Volunteers | Chris Shumlick

Chris is the energy and efficiency behind the concessions and volunteer efforts at SSYFF. With a knack for coordination and a heart for service, Chris ensures every game day runs smoothly, from organizing dedicated volunteers and vendors to providing top-notch concessions for families and fans. His commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone makes him an indispensable part of the league’s success.
